Before the cleaners arrive, 10 minutes of preparation is enough, and the cleaning will go faster and better. Here is a short checklist.
Put away valuables and personal items
It is better to put money, documents, jewelry and important small items in one place: it is calmer for you and for the crew. It takes a couple of minutes, and nobody worries about the safety of belongings during the work.
Clear the surfaces, if you can
If possible, take dishes off the tables and extra items off the floor. This is not required, but it speeds up the work. If you have no time, no problem, we will do it ourselves.
Tell us about problem areas
Show or describe where cleanliness matters most: old stains, buildup, a favorite rug. That way we will give these spots more attention and not miss anything important.
Access, water and pets
Make sure there is access to water and power outlets. If you have animals, let us know in advance: we use safe products, but a pet is calmer in a separate room.
What you do NOT need to do
Do not clean thoroughly beforehand, that is our job. And do not buy cleaning products: we bring everything we need ourselves.
