What to choose and the rules we work by
Height and access decide whether you need rope access workers. Aerial lifts in Aktau are mostly 16–22 m, they need a level, firm spot and room for a truck to drive in, and they are rented by the hour with a minimum of 3–5 hours. According to ads in Kazakhstan, that is about 10,000–20,000 ₸ per hour depending on the height

Work at height is regulated by Order No. 109 of the Minister of Labor of Kazakhstan dated March 31, 2022 (the text of the order on adilet.zan.kz, in Russian). Work is not allowed in wind of 15 m/s or more, heavy rain, thunderstorms or poor visibility. The crew has at least two people, each rope is attached to its own anchor point, residents are warned in advance, and the area below the work site is fenced off. The radius depends on the height:
